Gazebo Wedding Proposal Sets More Than Hearts Afire…

I couldn’t help chuckling a bit when reading this bit of gazebo news…. Apparently a New York man set up a very romantic backdrop to propose marriage to his girlfriend. He lit candles in and around his 25′ gazebo, placed candles and flower petals along the path, even had a votive candle chandelier hanging in the structure.  Seems the girlfriend said yes, because they set out on a vacation together, and extinguished all the candles…except one. After they left, the gazebo burned to the ground. Fortunately, nothing else burned, and no one was hurt. Think they’ll need a new gazebo for the wedding?
